How much is your time worth? If you are a business owner, could you be better off trying to increase yours sales? If you work for someone, could the time you spend be better utilized by your employer?
Here is an example. One of our clients called us at 4 PM and told us “I’ve been searching all day for this, XYZ, and can’t find it. I have a presentation at 5PM can you help me?” All day? I know approximately how much this person makes, fully loaded, and seven hours of her time ain’t cheap.
It took one of our researchers 20 minutes to find several items, in her price range, from legitimate and competent suppliers, put together a presentation and our client looked awesome. She had killed an entire day, but she looked awesome.
And, I’m guessing, she still had an entire days work that still had to be done – and I’m still guessing here, she probably was complaining to her colleagues how overworked she was.
A good promotional product consultant can do at least two things: first, they can be your right hand partner when it comes to finding items to promote your company. Second, they can free up your time to do other more useful or profitable things.

Honestly, from what we’ve seen, many companies are just pounding money down a rat hole. They have no clue why they are buying these products. The absolute worst reason for buying promotional products is because you think you have to.
On the other hand, if you are trying to promote yourself to prospects and customers, you may want to think about the power promotional products can give you.
